Politecnico di Milano is a scientific-technological university that trains engineers, architects and industrial designers.

The 2022 QS World University Rankings by Subject confirms Politecnico di Milano among the world’s top universities. The university is ranked 5th for Design, 10th for Architecture and 13th for Engineering, where it has gained 11 positions over the last six years.

In Italy, Politecnico di Milano is leader for Architecture, Design, Computer Science and Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering.

Politecnico di Milano has been the 1st Italian university in terms of H2020 funded projects (437 projects, more than 189 M€) and, so far, this top position is confirmed also for the Horizon Europe programme.

Politecnico di Milano is the 1st university in Italy and the 5th in Europe for projects funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Programme (2021-2027), which proves its ability to plan and attract funding:
